POINSETTIA PLACE SUITE- NOVEMBER 2020 CLASS PROJECT 1

It's time for Christmas projects as summer and Christmas is approaching us quickly. This is the first of two Christmas cards I have made using the Poinsettia Place Suite. Both cards will show the versatility of this suite.

Bundles: Poinsettia Petals Stamp set & Dies (photopolymer 155148). Ink: Real Red (147084). Card/Paper: Garden Green (108605), Old Olive (106576), Real Red (106578), Shimmery White (121717), Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper (153487), Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper (153486). Accessories: Beaded Pearls (153534). Tools: Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine (149653), Tombo Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755), Stampin' Dimensionals (104430).

Twelve 12" x 12" sheets: 2 each of 6 double-sided designs

I wanted to make a fun-fold card with the Poinsettia flower as the main feature. I did this by making a gatefold card as the base and adding the poinsettia to the bellyband with a Christmas sentiment from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set.

The Poinsettia flower was die-cut out in Real Red cardstock and the leaves die-cut out in Garden Green cardstock both using the Poinsettia Dies. These are layered together and stuck onto the Old Olive bellyband. A Beaded Pearl is placed in the middle of the flower. The two side panels are decorated with Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper. The words are cut out using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and placed on the bellyband.

And here is how the Gatefold fun-fold card opens...

Thanks for stopping by!
