DANDY GARDEN PROJECT 2

This is the second card I have made using the featured suite of the month, Dandy Garden Suite. Again I have chosen to feature the beautiful Designer Series Paper. I hope this project inspires you.

For this card I wanted to feature the Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper and emboss the stamped butterfly image from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set. I have chosen silver embossing powder for this. Depending on the DSP colour I have used the coordinating ink to stamp the Dragonfly and then used Dragonflies Punch to punch out the image. I have chosen to show case my design in two colours, Blackberry Bliss and Mossy Meadow. 

I have then layered the card using the DSP as the card front size with a smaller piece of the opposite colour. I have the embossed a coloured piece with the silver embossing powder and attached it to the larger Whisper White cardstock. Before adhering the layers I have added the Mossy Meadow braided linen trim around the Whisper White/coloured cardstock and tied a bow. Then I have adhered that to the card base using Stampin' Seal. 

I have then adhered the next two layers again using the Stampin' Seal. To finish the card I have stamped the sentiment in the same colour as the DSP and added one of the Ladybug Trinkets. The sentiment has been stamped in either Mossy Meadow or Blackberry Bliss and shape from Hippo & Friend Dies used to cut it out. This is adhered with dimentionals.

To the inside of the card I have added a card front size Whisper White piece and stamped it with the dragonfly stamp from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set. This time the colour ink I have used matches the DSP colour.
