JANUARY 2021 #simplestamping- DANDY GARDEN

Hello there,
Here is my take on this month's #simplestamping using the Dragonfly Garden stamp set and the Sale-a-Bration Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper.

The Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper has two patterns in four colours. The colours are Bermuda Bay, Blackberry Bliss, Granny Apple Green and Rococo Rose. You will receive 48 sheets in total. I hope this simple card inspires you.

The idea behind #simplestamping is to go back to basics and only use stamps, ink & paper and in this case a Sale-a-Bration product. So for this card I only used two ink colours, Momento Tuxedo Black and Daffodil Delight. I used a Basic White cardbase with a second Basic White layer on top. Then cut a piece of Daffodil Delight measuring 2 5/8 by 4 7/8 and a piece of the Granny Apple Green DSP measuring 2 1/2 by 4 3/4. To keep this card simple I have stamped the large flower stamp directly onto the DSP with Momento Tuxedo Black ink. I have then stamped the butterfly cluster stamp in Daffodil Delight. I have used the same size layer on the front of the card on the inside as well, again stamping the butterfly cluster in Daffodil Delight and the sentiment in Momento Tuxedo Black ink. To finish off the card I have stamped the sentiment 'For a true friend' in Daffodil Delight on a scrap piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock and cut each end in a flag shape using my paper snips. I have then adhered the sentiment with dimentionals.
