#simplestamping APRIL challenge

Back to basics is Stampin' Up!'s reason for starting #simplestamping and challenging demonstrators to show beginner stampers what they can do with stamps, ink and paper. 

This month's theme is Thank You using stamps, ink, paper & a retiring item. I have chosen two retiring items; the Stitched Nested Label Dies and Seaside Spray, one of the 2019-2021 In Colours.  

I have used Seaside Spray for my card base and cut another layer of Seaside Spray and adhered to the front of the card. Before adhering to the card base, I have used two stamps from the Friends are like Seashells stamp set and stamped these in Seaside Spray using various shades of ink to make my own background. 

Then I have stamped my sentiment in Seaside Spray on a piece of Sahara Sand and die cut this out using the soon to be retiring Stitched Nested Label Dies. I have adhered this to the card using dimentionals.

On the inside I have adhered a piece of Sahara Sand to the inside of the card and stamped the starfish and shell stamps again in Seaside Spray in the corner to finish it off.
