GIVE IT A WHIRL BIRTHDAY CARD

This month I am showcasing products from the new July-December Mini Catalogue and coordinating products from the Sale a Bration brochure. The bundle is Penguin Playmates and is so cute. It's great for a winter card. The stamp set offers both birthday and Christmas sentiments making it perfect for anywhere in the world.

For this card I have chosen to use the Give It a Whirl dies from the annual catalogue showcasing the versatility of the Penguin Playmates bundle and FREE Designer Series Paper. I have picked up a few tips from other demonstrators which I would like to share.

To allow enough space for the wheel to turn nicely use two circles with a square from the foam sheets in the middle to elevate the wheel. Then add pieces of foam sheets to each corner of your front panel making sure the wheel is still able to turn easily.

I have decorated my card using the FREE Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper from the current Sale a Bration brochure. Available until the end of September while supplies last. I have "fussy cut" the penguin, snowman and fox before adhering it to the front of the card using dimensionals. To make the front panel of the card stronger I have cut a second panel in Basic White and adhered this to the DSP before die-cutting the window. I have used the sentiments and decorative stamps from the Penguin Place stamp set.
