I am so excited to share these cards with you today as they came out of pure inspiration from one of my downlines Debbie Nahna. She showed me her card she was teaching for her first class and I immediately wanted to go home to make them. I used the Dragonfly Garden Bundle to decorate these cards but they can certainly be decorated any way you wish. I have since found out this fold is called a book fold.
This is such an easy card to make. Cut a cardbase, in New Zealand that measures 4 1/4 x 11 5/8". Then score at 5 7/8 and 4 7/8". Fold the card in half and then to the left. If you would like to use a ribbon, add this before adhering between the two score lines. Cut a piece of coordinating cardstock at 3 3/4 x 4 1/2" and a strip at 3 3/4 x 3/4". Then cut a piece of Dandy Garden DSP at 3 1/4 x 4" and a strip at 3 1/4 x 5/8". Adhere DSP to the appropriate cardstock and then to the front of the card.
Cut a piece of Basic White cardstock at 3 3/4 x 4 1/2", stamp with the dragonfly stamp from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set and adhere to the inside of the card.
To finish the front of the card I have stamped and punched a dragonfly using the Dragonfly Garden Bundle. I have stamped the sentiment on Basic White, die cut this out using Stitched So Sweetly dies.
